FAQS About Floorball

Is it the same as Indoor Hockey?

The ball used in Floorball is a light, hollow plastic ball which does not require protective equipment. The other main difference is that Floorball allows the use of feet and both sides of the stick.

Do I need to own or borrow any equipment?

We have plenty of floorball sticks available for use free of charge at all of our venues. However, you can purchase a stick from our floorball shop - Floorball Revolution - located in our sports centre.

Does the ball hurt when it hits you?

No, it feels like a very light slap!

Do I need SHIN PADS or protective equipment?

There is no requirement for you to wear shin pads or other protective equipment, but you may if you wish.
